Art at Brighton High School
At the high school level, students have an opportunity to select a variety of art electives. These include Studio Art I and II, Jewelry Making, Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Photography I and II, Portfolio Preparation, and AP Studio Art. For students who have a desire to continue their work in the art field beyond high school, we offer a Portfolio class to assist students in the preparation of their individual, professional portfolio. We currently host two major art shows during the year. Our students have received many honors and awards from art shows in the community and around the state. Each year several of our students go on to expand their creative abilities at prestigious art schools throughout the country.
